Kerid CraterThe next stop on the tour is at the 6,500 year old Kerið crater, the northernmost of the Tjarnarhólar crater series. The crater has a depth of 55 meters and a diameter of 270x170 meters. The water depth varies between 7-14 meters.
-
Gullfoss FallsNext stop is at the impressive Gullfoss waterfall. The Hvitá River falls here in two stages into a narrow gorge. Gullfoss is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country, if not the most beautiful.

Site de GeysirThe next stop is at the Haukadalur geothermal area, where the famous geyser is located. The namesake of the springs is rarely active anymore, but you can experience the up to 25 m high eruptions of the Strokkur geyser about every 5 to 10 minutes.
