The inspiring travel ideas of one person, may not be the inspiring travel ideas of another. Thankfully, when it comes to travel inspiration, we are spoiled for choice. The world – whatever we may think of it just now – is a banquet of diverse experiences just waiting for those who are willing, and able to travel.

The new Australian $5 note doesn’t officially come into circulation until the 1st of September, but it’s already attracting plenty of attention, much of it negative. Featuring images of the Prickly Moses wattle and the Eastern spinebill, along with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II that many consider unflattering, the bright colours and unusual patterning have caused uproar on social media.

With the BBC’s revamped Top Gear grabbing headlines (for mostly the wrong reasons unfortunately, bye Chris!) and the new Amazon motoring show from Clarkson, May and Hammond on its way, there’s never been a better time to indulge in your need for speed than now.
