1. Sydney

Sydney is the capital of New South Wales, and sits on Australia’s east coast. The Sydney Opera House is an iconic building, one of the world’s most spectacular works of architecture. 4. Cairns

While many people associate Australia with dry and dusty landscapes, in Cairns it’s tropical. The Daintree Rainforest here is reckoned to be one of the oldest in the world, and you can discover it on your Cairns honeymoon by trekking, canopy walks, or even picturesque gondola rides over the treetops.
