Before purchasing any of the Tinggly products, for the activities listed on our website Tinggly.com, please read these terms and conditions carefully, as we intend to rely upon them, for your own benefit and protection. It is important that you understand that this page, together with the documents referred to on it, explains the terms and conditions on which we supply the gifts, and if you, at any point, do not understand one of the clauses, you are encouraged to ask for further clarification. In particular, we ask for your attention to be drawn to the sections under the headings of BOOKING, CANCELLATION and LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. By ticking the box, stating that you “accept the terms and conditions”, you are acknowledging that you have read and agreed to the set Tinggly T&Cs.
Before making a purchase we also kindly ask you to become familiar with the terms and conditions of the activity supplier referred to in a particular activity description. Please note, if there is a conflict or ambiguity between Tinggly.com's terms and conditions and those of a supplier, the supplier's terms and conditions shall prevail.
TINGGLY VALUE: Please note that your voucher will be exchanged for value if you do not book an experience or a hotel stay within one year from the purchase date. The value of your gift will be transferred to your Tinggly account balance. This value can then be used to purchase anything from our platform.
TINGGLY GIFT COLLECTIONS: Each gift collection entitles the recipient to the experiences provided on Tinggly.com. For an up-to-date list of experiences in each collection refer to the Tinggly.com website only. Experiences inside Tinggly collections can be removed or added without prior notice.
HOTEL STAYS: All our hotel collections give you an option to choose the preferred location and stay length (number of nights) within the value of the collection. Please note, however, that all Tinggly collections, including the hotel ones, can only be used once.
TINGGLY SINGLE EXPERIENCES: Single experiences have certain limitations. We cannot guarantee the longevity of activities, because at any given moment any of the experiences we offer on our website can be discontinued and removed without prior notice. In the case of you having purchased a voucher, or having redeemed it for such an experience, it will be turned into Tinggly value and credited to your account, which you may use to purchase another product from our offered range.
If the experience price has significantly changed in comparison to your owned gift voucher, we reserve the right to ask for extra payment or cancel the reservation for that particular experience.
EXPIRATION: Our gifts do not have an expiration date, so you can use them whenever you want. Please note, that your voucher will be exchanged for Tinggly value if you do not book an experience or hotel stay within one year from the purchase date. The value of your gift will be transferred to your Tinggly account balance. This value can then be used to purchase anything from our platform.
BOOKING: All bookings are made subject to the ACTIVITY Supplier’s terms and conditions. Upon making a booking, you will be bound by that Supplier’s terms and conditions. You may access the relevant Supplier’s terms and conditions by viewing the supplier’s website or requesting a copy of their terms and conditions to be sent to you.
To enjoy your chosen activity and arrange a convenient time for doing it, you must register an account and redeem your voucher via the Tinggly website in advance. We recommend that bookings/redemptions are made at least 14 days in advance. Many dates, such as weekends and holiday periods, are very popular and may not be available unless a substantial period of notice is given to the activity supplier.
Some activities only have fixed dates available to choose from and cannot be tailor-made to suit each client’s preferred dates and times.
Once you have a confirmed booking with an activity supplier, it may not be possible for you to change your mind and cancel or rearrange the booking. Once booked, you stick to the activity supplier's terms and conditions.
RESTRICTIONS: Many activities have restrictions (such as age, height, weight, and physical and medical limitations) which may vary from supplier to supplier, so please check these before purchasing a gift. Details of these restrictions in each case are available on our website or can be provided on request by contacting us at [email protected].
If a person who is set to go on an activity has any doubts about their medical fitness, they should consult their doctor before booking the activity. It is your responsibility to ensure that you select an experience appropriate for yourself or the intended recipient, and it is the responsibility of the recipient to confirm that the activity is suitable for them prior to booking.
We will not refund any gifts if the participant cannot comply with a supplier’s restrictions, and is turned away from the supplier’s venue.
REFUND OF GIFT PURCHASE: If you are not satisfied with your purchase of a gift, please contact us within 30 days, and we will refund the total cost of your un-booked gift to the purchaser. Please note that we can only refund if the gift has been redeemed but not been used (e.g., to reserve an experience or a hotel stay).
Refunds are always made to the person who purchased the voucher. Refunds are not issued for the delivery fee paid if a physical gift box has been purchased.
Please note, that depending on your location and the banks involved:
- The time frame for receiving refunds can vary.
- The wire transfer may be paid in a currency used for the original purchase.
- Your bank may charge a wire fee.
CANCELLATION OF ACTIVITY: Once you book a specific date with an activity supplier, you are bound by their terms and conditions, including cancellations or rescheduling. Please make sure to check the cancellation policy on your ticket, or confirmation email.
Even if your experience is eligible for cancellation, you must make this amendment at least 48 hours before the experience, or according to the cancellation policy specified in your tickets, whatever it may be. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel at least 48 hours (or more) before your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
If an activity supplier needs to cancel the experience after you have booked a date, they should contact you. We strongly recommend, however, that you contact the activity supplier the day before you depart for your activity to confirm specific details regarding the booking (e.g., pick-up time or location, departure point, etc.). There is also the possibility of a short-notice cancellation by an activity supplier due to weather, mechanical problems, staff illness or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the supplier’s control.
If an activity was cancelled for any (un)specified reason, we will not be held liable for the cost of lost insurance premiums, travel expenses, pre-booked accommodation costs, or other costs or expenses incurred in connection with the activity.
Please note, that activities may require waiting times, especially as some are weather-dependent.
PURCHASE: All Tinggly products are purchased from the website Tinggly.com and require full payment.
You will be advised of the accepted methods of payment at the time of purchase. We do not accept payment by cheque or postal order, and you cannot pay in instalments. Discount codes can only be used to purchase single experiences, experience, and hotel getaway collections, and are not valid while purchasing gift cards.
Your order confirmation will be sent to you via the email you provided upon the account registration.
PRICES: We act as a booking intermediary for independent activity suppliers who may make changes to their prices at any time. The prices are updated automatically to match those that the provider is offering, however, please note that variations to prices can occur at any time without notice. If the experience price has significantly changed in comparison to your owned gift voucher or Tinggly value, we reserve the right to ask for an extra payment. Clients can still use the value of their gift voucher for any other experience on the Tinggly website.
Tinggly works with certain activity providers and partners and there may be a difference in experience price if compared to others that can be found through search and that are offering a different rate for the same activity.
Tinggly reserves the right to increase collection and experience prices without any prior notice and will not be held liable for any and all such changes.
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
INSURANCE: The nature of some of the services that are promoted on Tinggly.com are dangerous. Prior to ordering or participating in any activity you should be aware of the risks involved. Responsibility rests with you to make independent enquiries with the supplier and other third parties as to the need for you or the participant to acquire your own insurance coverage. Please be advised that Tinggly will not be held liable for any accidents and incidents that might occur during the time of your activity.
Activity suppliers might arrange their own liability insurance, which may provide insurance for participants covering them in cases where the supplier acts negligently. We advise you to check the terms of any such insurance that the activity suppliers may provide.
DELIVERY: All Tinggly products (including single experiences) are delivered either by e-mail or by post. We deliver worldwide, except for remote locations where DHL doesn’t yet provide a delivery service. Typically, it takes 2-4 business days to deliver a physical gift box in Europe, and 3-5 business days in the USA.
If you’re choosing delivery by e-mail, some accounts may classify our e-mail address as 'spam'. We are not liable or responsible for any loss suffered because of an e-mail being blocked by web filters or firewalls. If a recipient does not receive an e-mail from Tinggly, please contact us immediately so that we can send the e-mail to an alternative e-mail address.
INVOICE: Invoice will be sent to the purchaser by email if chosen at the time of purchase.
EXCHANGE: If you or your gift recipient are not satisfied with the purchased Tinggly product, you may exchange it for an alternative product from within our range, if you have not booked the activity with the activity supplier. Please note, that Tinggly lets you exchange vouchers for value. The funds are transferred to your Tinggly account balance, and you can choose how to spend it on our platform.
If your newly chosen product is of greater cost than the initially purchased gift, then the difference must be paid by you. If it is of a lower cost, then you’ll have an outstanding balance on your Tinggly account, which you can use towards another one of our offered gifts on the Tinggly.com website, by choosing to cover part of the payment by using your “Personal Wallet”.
DESCRIPTIONS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: The descriptions on Tinggly.com are as accurate as possible and made to match descriptions supplied by activity providers, however, there may be some variations. Photographs, illustrations, and certain details, such as particular activity equipment, vehicle or route followed, are subject to change depending on the specific conditions of the day.
The stated total duration of an experience is an indication of the time you are likely to spend at the venue and may slightly differ for each participant, or depending on the day the activity falls on (indicating weather conditions).

In case of a problem with a specific activity, please speak to the activity supplier on the day, so they have the opportunity to resolve any problems there and then. Failure to highlight issues on the day of the activity may jeopardise investigations and result in an unsatisfactory outcome.
If your complaint is not resolved on the day, you must contact us within one week of the experience date, providing us with your booking reference, the name and surname of the activity supplier’s representative to whom you highlighted the complaint on the day and full details of your complaint.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: If either of the parties fails to comply with these terms and conditions, neither of them shall be responsible for any losses that the other suffers as a result, except for those losses that are a foreseeable consequence of the failure to comply with these terms and conditions at the time both parties entered into this contract with one another.
We reserve the right to transfer liabilities to a third party in case of a merger or sale of the business.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits in any way our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any breach of the obligations implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982; or
- Defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
WEATHER AND UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES: Many activities promoted on Tinggly.com are dependent on the weather and we advise you to call and check with the supplier whether the weather conditions are suitable for the booked activity. If your activity is cancelled because of the weather, you will be able to rebook for a date on which you are able to attend. In the event of cancellation, Tinggly.com will not be held liable for the cost of lost insurance premiums, travel expenses, pre-booked accommodation costs or any other costs incurred.
Tinggly.com is not responsible for the lack of sightings on the tour day (e.g., whale and dolphin watching, Northern lights hunting, etc.). Please contact your assigned tour provider (contact information can be found in your ticket or confirmation email) to take up the case with them directly.
