1. How long have you been travelling together? How did it happen?

Craig and I have been on the road for 10 months out of the 18 month career break to travel Europe and the Americas but it’s not our first time travelling together! We had a taster trip to South East Asia back in 2013 for 5 weeks to see if we could actually travel without killing each other.

2. What was the biggest challenge you faced as a couple?

Craig’s hanger and pre – coffee mornings! I just broke my iPhone this morning, if I can’t get the pre-written articles off my phone then that may top it.

3. What was the most romantic moment in your travels?

Craig proposed under the fake starts of the HR MacMillan Space Museum in Vancouver!

4. What would be the quote for your (travel) love story?

We’re both doers so ‘waiting for it to happen or making it happen?’

1. How long have you been travelling together? How did it happen?

We’ve been travelling together for nearly three years, ever since Kach came to visit me in Hanoi in July 2013. We had met in Luang Prabang a few months earlier, but went our separate ways after a few days. We kept in touch and after a couple of months I convinced Kach to come visit me in Hanoi for a couple of weeks and we went on a week long motorbike trip through the mountains of Vietnam. Two weeks came and went, she stayed and we’ve been travelling together ever since!

2. What was the biggest challenge you faced as a couple?

Travelling is always challenging, but our real challenge began when we decided to start our own business – Two Monkeys Travel Group. It’s one thing to travel together and be with each other 24/7, but it’s another entirely to work together as well. It’s been interesting!

3. What was the most romantic moment in your travels?

To cross from Panama to Colombia, we sailed across the Caribbean, stopping at the San Blas Islands on the way. Kach had no idea that I had bought an engagement ring while I was on a press trip in Croatia the week before. On our last day in the islands, we paddled across to a deserted island covered in coconut palms, where I proposed to her!

4. What would be the quote for your (travel) love story?

Expect the unexpected!

1. How long have you been travelling together? How did it happen?

Anne and I met while working in Dubai and within 3 weeks planned our first trip to Thailand – something that terrified us both! Since then it has been non-stop and we were lucky enough to visit 11 countries in 2015, while working full-time in Dubai. That was a year and a half ago and we haven’t looked back – more amazing adventures are planned for 2016!

2. What was the biggest challenge you faced as a couple?

To be honest, its for me to speak and communicate with all of Anne’s family and friends! Being an American, most places I got allow me to get away with only speaking English – however, Anne is French which means I’ve really got to step my game up! I’m doing my best, but its tough, what a nightmare language!

3. What was the most romantic moment in your travels?

For sure it was on the beach in Thailand on New Years eve. We were steps from the fireworks, our favorite song came on, blah blah mushy mushy – it would be hard to beat!

4. What would be the quote for your (travel) love story?

Very fittingly, it would be 100% “I don’t know where I am going next, but I promise it won’t be boring” from David Bowie. Just about sums us up perfectly!

1. How long have you been travelling together? How did it happen?

We have both always loved travelling, even before we knew each other. Once we were dating for a little while, we started taking short road trips close to home. Our first longer trip that involved flights was on a Caribbean cruise. From there, we were both absolutely hooked on traveling together and decided to keep a record of our travels on our own blog.

2. What was the biggest challenge you faced as a couple?

I think we have to compromise when it comes to our travel styles. I’m the type of person who is always wanting to go go go. Justin is more laid back and enjoys his relaxing times. Once we meet halfway, we get to see many sights, but also slow down to take it all in. We balance each other out quite nicely that way.

3. What was the most romantic moment in your travels?

Our most romantic moment was taking a gondola ride in Venice with our Tinggly gift box! What could possibly be more romantic than a gondola ride in Venice? It might be stereotypical, but it was truly magical riding through the narrow canals with musicians performing classic Italian songs for us.

4. What would be the quote for your (travel) love story?

“It doesn’t matter where you’re going, it’s who you have beside you”. No matter where we end up, the most important part is that we get to share these moments together.

1. How long have you been travelling together? How did it happen?

Chris and I been traveling together for eight years–literally since the day that we met. Our relationship started on a trip to Tanzania to summit Mount Kilimanjaro. We struck up a friendship and officially started dating a few months later. We’ve been exploring the world together ever since.

2. What was the biggest challenge you faced as a couple?

You know, after traveling together for eight years, we’ve been able to work out a lot of kinks in our relationship. The biggest challenge we faced was when we moved to South Korea together after a year of dating. We had never lived together before–much less in a different country–and had to get used to each others quirks. The first few months were definitely a challenge in our teeny tiny studio apartment.

3. What was the most romantic moment in your travels?

The most romantic moment in our travels would have to be when Chris proposed at the Taj Mahal. We woke up incredibly early so that we could take in the sheer majesty of the Taj in the morning light. As the sun was rising and the crowds were gathering, we walked over to one of southern towers and he got down on one knee. I was completely shocked and pleasantly surprised.

4. What would be the quote for your (travel) love story?

The quote for our travel love story would probably be, “As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen.” -Winnie the Pooh
