Full Day Thrilling White Water Rafting in Idaho
Overview
Experts agree the whitewater rafting in Idaho ranks among the best in the world, and this stretch along the South Fork Payette features Class IV rapids that will really put you to the test. When you take this Idaho experience, be ready to get wet and have some fun. Two different routes are available - to begin with, the Helende is perfect for families with children aged upwards of 5. Plenty of bouncing around but nothing too challenging. Stop for a picnic lunch at some hot springs then take a dip in a watering hole before continuing your run.
The second option, which is for the adrenaline-hunters, is the Canyon route, featuring some big, big water. You’re going be thrown about in these rapids so hang on tight. Again there’s a break for lunch, and you can also do some rock-jumping while you relax before heading back out into the mix. All in all you’ll be tackling 25 rapids on the Canyon, as well as a waterfall portage so you sure get your money’s worth here. You’ve not rafted until you’ve rated Idaho.
