A tented camp has little to do with camping. You sleep in a tent under canvas but in the tent, there are regular beds, there is a toilet and a real shower. There is a good chance that you will hear the hyenas crying or other animal sounds at night. It is absolutely safe in the tent. When it is dark, after dinner, you are guided to the tent by a watchman. There is a whistle in every tent to call the watchman.
