Your journey begins at Kinomiya Shrine in Atami, where you'll encounter a 2,100-year-old camphor tree said to bring good fortune. You'll have the opportunity to taste cedar 'miracle water' and sample roasted-barley manjū, a local treat.
Next, you'll visit Shuzenji Onsen, a Michelin-starred hot spring resort. Here, you can cross the picturesque 'Lovers' Bridges' and explore a 1,200-year-old temple. The highlight is a soak in a cedar outdoor bath, where you can relax as autumn leaves drift down around you.
The tour continues with a choice between Niji-no-Sato, a unique Anglo-Japanese themed park, or Shuzenji Nature Park, offering a short climb to stunning views of autumn foliage.
