Explore Wat Chai Wattanaram, one of Ayutthaya's most cherished historical sites. This temple, commissioned in 1630 A.D. by King Prasat Thong, stands as a testament to a son's profound love for his mother. Its architecture draws inspiration from the Angkor temples in Cambodia, creating a mesmerizing blend of Thai and Khmer influences. (Total time Included travelling from Bangkok to Ayutthaya)

Wat Phra Sri SanphetNext visit Wat Phra Srisanphet, a site of great significance within the ancient royal palace of Ayutthaya. The main attractions of Wat Phra Srisanphet are the grand three stupas, exemplifying the exquisite Ceylonese architectural style. Interestingly it lies adjacent to Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and therefore both the ruins of Wat Phra Si Sanphet and the more contemporary Wat Mongkhon Bophit can be visited the same morning or afternoon.

You'll find a captivating sight - the head of a sandstone Buddha image, nestled gently within the embracing roots of a sacred tree. Enjoy delicius lunch at an exquisite Thai restaurant.
