Meet your SCUBA instructor inside Balneario Escambrón. We meet at our SCUBA vehicle in the far back parking lot.
SCUBA dive from a gorgeous beach in Old San Juan with certified PADI instructors. Learn about & observe tropical fish & marine life in their world. Breathe & experience weightlessness under water!
What you’ll do:
-complete medical questionnaire, liability release, & e-learning tutorial online before arriving
-check in, listen to safety brief, equipment usage, & proper conduct around marine life.
-put on SCUBA equipment & walk into shallow water.
-in shallow water, practice breathing on SCUBA followed by skills practice: instructor demonstrates & guests repeat required skills needed to explore deeper water.
-instructor leads you on scuba to see blue tang, Jack, parrot fish, angel fish, green sea turtles, squid, & more! (dive time 30-45 minutes depending upon air usage. Max depth 22’.)
-After, share about marine animals you saw, & learn about options to continue diving.
READ MEDICAL EXCLUSIONS PRIOR TO BOOKING; NO FLYING WITHIN 12 HOURS AFTER DIVING. THIS EXPERIENCE IS NOT A CERTIFICATION. CALL FIRST IF IN DOUBT.
