Beside the giant statues, you can also spot smaller figures representing the pharaoh’s wife, Tiy, and his mother, Mutemwia. Intricate carvings on the sandstone panels, including depictions of the Nile god Hapy, reveal the remarkable craftsmanship of the era. Though weathering has taken its toll, the site still echoes the grandeur and reverence it commanded in ancient times.
