Cave Point County ParkJoin us for a beautiful kayak trip along Door County’s pristine Lake Michigan coastline. The trip will take you along Cave Point County Park, and Whitefish Dunes State Park. With the unique vantage point of your kayak, you’ll be able to experience the beauty of the dolostone caves and and observe the beautiful karst landscape on crystal clear Lake Michigan. These dolostone rock formations are what is known as the Niagara Escarpment, and Door County's band of rock goes from Wisconsin around the north end of Lake Michigan and Huron all the way to Niagara Falls. We venture into a couple of the accessible caves, and spend some time relaxing with our feet in the water, enjoying the natural beauty and soaking up the sun before kayaking back to the launch point at Schauer Park.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
