Opened in 1833, the Welland Canal is considered one of the great engineering feats of its time and continues to be a critical part of the St. Lawrence Seaway. While we won’t be stopping, you’ll have a chance to admire the station’s impressive structure and learn about its vital role in providing power to the region.
