Overview
Experience one of Interior Alaska’s most unforgettable wilderness routes on a full-day small-group journey through mountain ranges, tundra, glacial valleys, wild rivers, lakes, and vast open country rarely seen by most visitors.
Following the legendary Denali Highway, this tour crosses a sweeping 450-mile loop through some of the most dramatic vehicle-accessible wilderness in the state. The scenery changes constantly throughout the day, from boreal forest and distant northern ranges to alpine tundra, broad glacial basins, rugged ridgelines, and sweeping views of the Alaska Range.
Frequent stops for photography, wildlife viewing opportunities, and short walks allow you to step into the landscape while your local guide shares insight into the region’s geology, ecology, history, and wildlife.
This is a long full-day experience, about 13–14 hours, including 135 miles of maintained gravel. Groups are limited to just 6 guests for a more spacious, comfortable, and personal experience.
