Snorkel in a semi-private tour whilst on the reef with a maximum of 4 snorkellers. Reef just over 1 hour from Mission Beach or Dunk Island directly. QuickCoast is fast, comfortable and air-conditioned catamaran with premium hospitality
QuickCoast to the Great Barrier Reef from Mission Beach has a maximum of 50 people making us one of the smaller operators in terms of numbers. We are currently averaging 20-30 people at this current point in time. Our numbers make us an ideal option for groups and exclusive charters are a very real option
Our reef is pristine, only just over an hour from the mainland or Dunk Island making it one of the fastest transfers to the Outer Reef.
QuickCoast is the only sizable, comfortable catamaran that visits Beaver Reef. Because our numbers are small, our reef is widely regarded as one of the most untouched reefs thereby enhancing the experience for our travellers.

We depart Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal at 6.30am - please be on time as our coach cannot wait for late passengers regardless of reason.

Djiru National ParkThe journey to Mission Beach normally takes just under 2 hours from Cairns in each direction. But the journey is well worth it. You'll pass by Queensland's two highest maintains Mount Bartle Frere and Mount Bellenden Kerr. You'll pass by canfields and banana farms, see how the locals live. Then, when we turn off the highway you'll travel through dense Djiru National Park where you may be lucky to spot a wild cassowary.

Dunk IslandDunk Island is covered mostly in national park, the tropical island is a nature lover’s playground with beautiful walking trails and palm-fringed beaches. From the jetty, make a left and follow the beach until you reach the track signs leading to Muggy Muggy Beach and Mount Kootaloo. The are 6 different versions of the hikes possible from easy to moderate. There also great swimming from Brammo Bay as well as Muggy Muggy Beach where some marine life snorkelling is possible. Scenic coast ferry ride and marina boarding process with a light breakfast (included) within this time allocation (5.5 hours actually on the island 9.30am - 3.00pm)
