The tour leaves from Alexanderplatz and starts with a 2-hour guided visit of the various sections of the Sachsenhausen camp. In operation since 1936, Sachsenhausen was one of the largest concentration camps in Nazi Germany until 1945. Since 1993, it has stood as a memorial to the victims of the Nazi regime.
Your guide will share their knowledge about the forced labor, persecution, and atrocities committed by the Nazis. You'll visit the main courtyard, Tower A, barracks 38 and 39, the kitchen, Tower E, the prison, and the gas chamber, among others.
