Islas Marietas National Park, located in Banderas Bay, is a protected nature reserve of volcanic origin recognized for its biodiversity and unique formations. Accessible only by sea, this island set is home to more than 99 species of birds, tropical fish, corals and marine fauna, including the iconic blue-footed boobbird. Among its main attractions is Playa Escondida, an open-air natural cavity that can only be visited by swimming through a marine tunnel. Playa Nopalera is also visited, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding or kayaking, with landscapes that change with the seasons. The park offers experiences that combine adventure, environmental education and contemplation, all within a fragile and regulated ecosystem. Your access is subject to limited control and capacity to protect your natural wealth and allow each visit to be safe and respectful of the environment.

Marietas IslandsOnce we arrive at this natural gem of Marietas Islands National Park, we prepare to live the most iconic experience of the tour: access to the famous Playa Escondida. Guided by certified instructors, we will swim through a natural sea tunnel, which leads to a unique beach in the world: an inlet hidden inside a volcanic rock dome open to the sky. This natural spectacle, formed by the erosion of time, has captivated travelers from all over the world. You will have 30 minutes to enjoy this unforgettable scenario: Take pictures. Swim in its crystal clear waters. ❤️ Enjoy with your partner or in silence, contemplating the beauty of this protected natural area. At the end of the allotted time, we will return in a support panga to our main vessel, where you will continue to enjoy the rest of this wonderful experience in the Marietas Islands.
