  • Scenic drive through Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. (pass by)
  • Traverse through the remote wilderness of Rannoch Moor, known for its wildlife. (pass by)
  • Stop at Glen Coe to soak up stunning views of its dramatic peaks and see the iconic Three Sisters.
  • Fort William
    Get excited for the famous Jacobite Steam Train! Departing from Fort William, the most spectacular rail journey in the world winds its way along Scotland’s rugged west coast, crossing the legendary Glenfinnan Viaduct, known from the Harry Potter films. The train ride is approximately 2 hrs and will take you to Mallaig where your guide will meet you.
  • Mallaig
    Disembark the train in Mallaig, a well-known fishing port, to explore the town and enjoy fresh seafood for lunch.
  • After lunch, drive along the scenic Appin coast, passing the stunning Kilchurn Castle, nestled on the shores of Loch Awe. (pass by)
  • Inveraray
    Take a short visit to Inveraray for a leisurely exploration and a walk along the tranquil shores of Loch Fyne.
  • On our return to Glasgow, we'll stop at the famous Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint before arriving back in the city by evening. (pass by)

  • Children under 5 years old, including infants who do not require a seat, are not permitted to travel. We are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 5.
  • It is not possible to upgrade your Standard steam train ticket to a First Class ticket
  • It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
  • Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.

  • Please note that the Jacobite Steam Train service may be subject to alterations and cancellations at short notice, outwith our control.
  • Each traveller is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase weighing no more than 33lbs (15kg) and 1 carry-on bag.
