Cascades d'OuzoudAfter pickup from your Marrakech hotel, travel east by minivan through rural Morocco to the Ouzoud Waterfalls. Upon arrival, walk through olive groves owned by generations of Berber farmers and descend to gorges below waterfalls. At the base, stroll along the river and marvel at the 3-tiered falls, which flow into a pool. Snap photos and, if you wish, enjoy a swim in the cool waters and an optional boat ride (own expense) near the waterfalls to feel the spray. Then, step ashore and visit one of the cafes or restaurants overlooking the river for lunch (own expense). Finally, climb the steps to the top. Take a break from driving to see the falls from different angles, admire rainbows in the mist, and learn about and feed the monkeys that congregate there.
