Lake ChuzenjiLake Chuzenji is Japan's highest natural lake, located just west of Nikko and is part of the Nikko National Park. It formed about 20,000 years ago when neighboring Mt. Nantai erupted and its lava flow dammed the Daiyo River. The lake tips the altitude scales at 1,269 meters.
