Full day excursion to Gangasagar with a tour guide– An island in the confluence of river Ganges and bay of Bengal. Well known for Kapil Muni Ashram which is advised to be a great devout significance and Holy Dip (Snaan at River-Sagar Confluence). Gangasagar offers the charms of an un-spoilt beach on the estuary of the river Ganges.
Round trip journey from Kolkata to Ferry Ghat in a private AC car.
6:00 AM: You would start your journey from your hotel/other location in Kolkata.
Drive from Kolkata to Harwood Point (90Km/3 Hrs) near Kakdwip.
Breakfast at a local restaurant on the way.
Arrival at Harwood Ferry point, take a Ferry to Kachuberia (45 min).
Upon arrival at Kachuberia , the landing point on Sagar Island.
Drive in a car (Tempo/car) to the pilgrimage site at Gangasagar (30Km/45 minutes).
After reaching Gangaagar, take a walk or rickshaw to take a holy dip at the confluence of river Ganges and Bay of Bengal.
4:00 PM: Proceed to Kolkata by AC car.
9:00 PM: Arrival in Kolkata.
