GeysirWe’ll begin our stop at Geysir, where we’ll witness the famous Strokkur geyser erupt, sending hot water high into the air every few minutes. After enjoying this natural spectacle, we’ll have some free time to explore the area, walk along nearby trails, or simply take in the stunning landscape. Next, we’ll head to the Icelandic horses area, where we’ll have the chance to get up close and learn about these unique animals, known for their resilience and the distinctive tölt gait.

Thingvellir National ParkÞingvellir is a site of great historical and geological significance. This national park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was the location of the world’s first democratic parliament, the Alþing, founded in 930. Here, we can also observe the rift between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, which continues to separate at a rate of about 2 cm per year. We’ll enjoy a walk through this stunning landscape, surrounded by mountains, lakes, and a rich history.
