Overview
You will start your journey on the Gabbi Karniny Bidi " Discover the Salt Lakes" with some of the best views on the Island. From Vlamingh lookout you’ll gain real perspective of what you’ll find beyond the settlement.
You will then head on to Lake Baghdad and Head onto the Lakes Boardwalk to experience the illusion of walking on water. You will detour up to the Wadjemup Lighthouse where you will stop for a light refreshment and a moment to enjoy the beautiful view from the highest point on the island, before returning to the trail and heading to the Northern beaches.
Prepare to kick off your shoes and paddle in the calm waters of Little Parakeet Bay and then we onto Geordie Bay, Longreach Bay and the Basin, one of the Island’s most popular swimming spots. You finish the hiking tour back at the main settlement, where you are free to enjoy lunch the way you want to before experiencing Rottnest in the afternoon.
