Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a natural wonder – Halong Bay is made up of more than 3,000 limestone karst cliffs. On the bay island there are hundreds of beautiful caves, including many famous names such as Thien Cung, Bear Head, Sung Sot, Tam Cung and Bo Nau. Some archaeological sites hold archaeological evidence of the prehistoric cultures of Soi Nhu and Ha Long such as Soi Nhu, Cung Cung, Tien Ong, Thien Long, Hang Trong, and Virgin.

Located in the central area of the bay in Bo Hon Island, Sung Sot Cave is the most beautiful and spacious cave which is one of must-visit attractions in Halong Bay. Covering a total area of over 10,000 square meter, Sung Sot cave is described as an “Opera House” with thousands of magic stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes. At approximately 25 meters above sea level, the cave comprises two caverns, each as magnificent and fascinating as the other. The first cavern is around 30 meters high known as the waiting room before stepping into the world of fantasy in the second champer. Visitor will follow a narrow stone path from the first cavern to the second in the orange diffused light of electric lighting. Immersed in that fanciful atmosphere, visitors are present at the “Opera House” of flowstones, stalactites, stalagmites and columns forming though out millions of years.

Luon Cave is one of the attractions with poetic and peaceful natural scenery that is attracting a large number of young people who love to explore. Located on Bo Hon island, in the south of Ha Long Bay, it only takes you about 20 minutes (14km) to travel from Tuan Chau or Bai Chay island to Luon cave. Unlike other caves, to move to visit Luon cave in Quang Ninh, you cannot walk but must travel by boat because this cave has a flooded floor and opens to the sea. Located in a very special location, Luon Cave is surrounded by charming natural scenery with clouds, mountains and green trees. The archway of the cave with a natural shape of about 60m is always reflected in the cool blue sea water and the lovely boats passing by, creating a beautiful painting.

Ti Top island is located about 14 kilometers to the east of Bai Chay tourist harbor. It has a beach that is shaped like a crescent moon and known for its tranquillity and beautiful still blue waters. The sands of the beach have been dyed white by the ocean’s surf creating a perfect picture of paradise. The island was named after the Russian cosmonaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov who, together with President Ho Chi Minh, visited the island in 1962. Titop island has since become a popular tourist destination and provides many services catered to tourists.
