Overview
You'll experience an adrenaline-filled rib boat tour of the Hardangerfjord, an additional plus is that during this event you will learn every detail about the fjord. You'll meet your guide in the lobby of the Thon Hotel Sandven. Before boarding the boat, you need to wait for a safety briefing.
You'll not only learn about the fjord, but also about the people who lived on the fjord farms. At the end of the Hardangerfjord you'll see the old trading town of Herandsholmen. While crossing the fjord and heading north, you'll enter Fyksesund which is the narrowest part of the Hardangerfjord, this fjord branch cannot be accessed via a road. The last 5 kilometer runs between steep mountains to the roadless old village of Botnen.
During this excursion you'll admire the fjord's beautiful scenery, nature, and life on its shores. You might, even, see porpoises swimming beside the speed boat. Be sure to have your camera close and ready to shoot.
