Your first stop will be the City Palace Complex in Jaipur. This royal residence and former administrative headquarters of the Jaipur State was established shortly after the city of Jaipur was founded. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court from Amber to Jaipur in 1727, oversaw the construction of the palace. Note: The City Palace entry ticket grants access to most sections of the complex; however, entry to the Chandra Mahal Palace (Blue Room) is not included and requires a separate ticket.
  • Jantar Mantar - Jaipur
Next, head to Jantar Mantar, located just opposite the City Palace. This astronomical observatory in Jaipur was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the early 18th century. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jantar Mantar is famous for its collection of large, fixed astronomical instruments, including the Samrat Yantra, the world’s largest stone sundial. The observatory was designed to measure time, track celestial bodies, and predict eclipses with remarkable precision.
  • At Samrat Sweets, renowned for its samosas, kachoris, and tea, you’ll enjoy a cup of masala tea along with your choice of samosa or kachori. Located on Chaura Road, this popular street food spot serves a variety of traditional dishes, including dal pakwan, along with their famous snacks.
  • Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind
Now, move on to the most iconic landmark of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal. Also known as the 'Palace of Winds,' this five-story palace was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Famous for its honeycomb-like structure with 953 windows, it was designed for royal women to observe daily life and festivals in secrecy. A stunning blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, the palace is made of red and pink sandstone, making it one of Jaipur’s most recognized landmarks. Enjoy a stunning view of the Hawa Mahal from the outside while sipping on coffee and relaxing in a charming café nearby.
  • Next, stroll down Hawa Mahal Road and stop at Pandit Ji Kulfi to taste the famous kulfi (milk ice cream). Shree Pandit Kulfi Bhandar is a popular spot among tourists, known for its mouth-watering and delicious kulfis
  • Royal Gaitor Tumbas
The royal cenotaphs, located just outside the city walls beneath Nahargarh, offer a peaceful and somewhat undiscovered retreat. These beautifully carved stone monuments honor notable figures like Maharajas Pratap Singh, Madho Singh II, Jai Singh II, and others.
  • Pass by the Jal Mahal, located in the serene Man Sagar Lake, renowned for its stunning architecture and picturesque setting. (pass by)
  • Panna Meena ka Kund
A hidden treasure from the 16th century, this stepwell showcases stunning Rajasthani architecture and timeless charm. With its symmetrical staircases and serene setting, it offers insight into ancient water conservation and is ideal for photography and peaceful exploration.
  • Amer
Amer, located 11 km from Jaipur’s city center, is renowned for its stunning architecture, historic landmarks, traditional pink homes, ancient temples, and deeply rooted cultural heritage. The town is an integral part of Jaipur’s history, offering visitors the opportunity to explore its royal past and timeless charm.
  • Now, pass by the Albert Hall Museum, which is renowned for its impressive architecture and rich collection of artifacts. (pass by)
