Overview
One of our favorite neighborhoods for its bohemian style, cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, hippie vibe, crafts, ice cream, churros, street art and the whole atmosphere full of life and art. We will take you to know the most beautiful of this small town as well as its hidden gems, passing by the house of Frida Kahlo, the market, the fountain of the Coyotes, the house of the Malinche. We will show you places where you can find good chocolate, coffee, cacao and mezcal.
On Saturdays and Sundays there is one of the most beautiful art and craft bazaars that we would love to take you to, the Saturday Bazaar.
Coyoacan is also home to Ciudad Universitaria, the largest university campus in Latin America, a must visit in this area.
Some other stops to add are the Cineteca Nacional for architecture and film lovers, the Anahuacalli museum for Diego Rivera fans, the Museo de las Culturas populares, our favorite museum with amazing exhibits of different cultures of Mexico.
