Embark on a popular and moderate day hike just outside of Marrakesh, ascending and descending almost 900m. Take in panoramic views of the Imlil and Azzaden Valleys from several points along the route. After your early morning pickup from your hotel in the city, sit back and relax on the 64-kilometer ride towards the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive at the village of Imlil (1,740m), the starting point of your hike. Head up the M’zik Valley to the tizi m’zik (2,500 m) via the Berber villages arghen and m’zik . From the pass, head into the Moroccan pine forest and pick up a trail that leads to the summit of the mighty mont Tasghimout (2,700m ). At the summit of Tasghimoute , take your time to marvel at the view of azzaden Valley and the Berber villages of Tizi Oussem and aid-Aissa sprawling beneath you, before beginning your descent back to Imlil. Enjoy a lunch break on your way down, and a relaxed drop off back in Marrakesh.
