Temple of DemeterOur experienced escort on the way to the site in the bus will give you information about Demeter temple and there you ll pay your entrance fee ticket (4€ pp in cash only) and underyour escort s guidance you ll visit first the temple and then the museum located there. On Tuesdays this site is closed so instead you will visit Bazeos Tower ,former monastery of 16th cen AD and nowadays cultural centre (5 Euro pp entrance fee)

Along with your escort , after walking in the heart of the village you ll visit the tradistional olivepress where your escort will explain how the olive oil procedure was years ago and then together you ll enjoy a live demonstation at the traditional pottery workshop. Here you ll learn what is sfouni or the cup of justice.

Apollonas KourosThe most impressive Archaic period statue on the island because of its size (10,5 m) lying on the ground. There are 56 steps to climb in order to get there but it s totally worth it !
