Overview
You'll be surprised how much of Vietnam's former capital you can see in one day – all it takes is the right planning. On this 7 hour tour of the city you will get to discover Hanoi's true character through its natural landscapes, museums, places of worship and more. Right after a convenient pick up from your hotel, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex – a traffic-free area of monuments, memorials and botanical gardens, accompanied by an informative explanation from your guide. Go on to see the One Pillar Pagoda and Tran Quoc Pagoda before stopping by the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first national university. After a relaxing lunch, there will still be time left for a trip to Hoan Kiem Lake, Bat Trang ceramic village and more. At the end of the tour, there's the option of a water puppet show, traditional cyclo tour, or avoiding the traffic mayhem to be delivered seamlessly back to your hotel.

08h45: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho. You have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world. - Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, pagodas, etc. - Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. But still can take picture of the Mausoleum and visit around that area. - Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for the annual maintaining.

Temple of Literature & National University09h45: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century. Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam. The Temple of Literature was founded in 1070.

Bat Trang Ceramics Village12h00: Have lunch at our restaurant. 13h00: Car and tour guide pick you up to visit Bat Trang pottery village 14h30 – 16h00: You arrive in Bat Trang, you visit the ceramic and enamel workshop. You can listen to the artisan's instructions on the pottery making process and learn about glazes, ceramics, etc. You can experience the pottery making process yourself (at your own expense). And then you visit Bat Trang Museum, free to visit and learn about ceramics. 16h00: Return to Hanoi. 17h00: Tour guide drops guests off at the original pick up point. End of an exciting tour
