Overview
To certify as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, you must take part in a deep dive and navigation dive. Perhaps you want to improve your buoyancy, practice diving in currents, dive on a wreck, learn about fish and corals or even try diving at night - all these, and many more, can be chosen in resort when you talk to your instructor.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is your ticket to dive deeper and have a lot of fun along the way! This course includes 5 adventure dives, taken over a two-day period, giving you the chance to gain experience in different types of diving. Two of these dives are required—a deep dive and a navigation dive—which demonstrate your ability to dive to 30 meters and use underwater navigation techniques. You’ll also earn a certification card to prove your new skills!
The remaining three dives are up to you. Whether you want to improve your buoyancy, explore a wreck, dive at night, practice in currents, or learn more about marine life, you can choose the experiences that interest you most. These options can be discussed and selected with your instructor once you're at the resort.
