- Uses a large mortar and vintage pestle with more than 100 years;
- Taste the freshly prepared pesto with a four-course Ligurian menu: the typical Genoese focaccia - a handmade pasta of the Ligurian tradition such as trofie or gnocchi seasoned with freshly prepared pesto - pansoti of the Ligurian tradition with walnut sauce - a traditional dessert: the Italian Tiramisù;
- The dishes will be accompanied with a wine from the Ligurian Riviera and Italian liqueurs and grappa such as limoncello, myrtle and Camatti bitter;
- Authentic Italian location surrounded by greenery: garden in the summer months and heated outdoors in the winter months.

The only cooking class in which Camilla Pizzorno, winner of the World Mortar Pesto Championship, teaches her recipe and makes you taste a Ligurian menu.
1. You will be welcomed in a typical Ligurian garden surrounded by greenery during the summer, or in a heated outdoor area in winter. We will begin by learning to recognize the quality and role of the ingredients of Genoese pesto.
2. With a large 100-year-old Carrara marble mortar and an olive wood pestle, Camilla will guide you in the preparation of pesto. You will crush and mix the ingredients by hand, to create the right color and texture.
3. We will taste the freshly prepared pesto, served with the typical Genoese focaccia and a traditional pasta, trofie or handmade gnocchi.
4. We will continue the experience by preparing the walnut sauce by mortar, an ancient and today rare recipe made by mortar DA.
5. You will taste the walnut sauce with a plate of pansoti, typical fresh local pasta.
6. The tour will end with a typical dessert, tiramisu, accompanied by wine, spirits and Italian grappa.
7. At the end of the experience you will receive the Champion's recipe, photos and videos of the experience and a gift.
