Overview
Take part to this Porto private day tour in a small group. Departing from your hotel, you will have an overview of the city with a panoramic tour by car.
The first visit is the House of Music (Casa da Música), a remarkable work of the architect Rem Koolhaas in the area of Boavista. The guide will describe the building explaining the modern architecture, the functionalities and the artistic programming.
Then you will explore Foz do Douro, situated in the western part of Porto, where the Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Foz is a very sophisticated neighborhood with beautiful mansions.
After lunch in the central part of town, you will participate in a walking tour from São Bento station to the riverside, where you will embark for a boat tour on the Douro river.
The last part of the visit will amaze you with a wine tasting of Porto wine followed by a beautiful view of Porto from the Gaia side. Before returning to your hotel, you will pass by the famous double-decker Dom Luis I bridge, an icon of the city of Porto.
