This walking tour will take you to some of the highlights of this city’s historical and literary spots. It starts in the New Town and works its way to the centre, dropping you off not far from Old Town Square.

Meeting point
Tours begin on Charles Square / Karlovo náměstí.
We will meet on the north-east corner of the square, by the fountain with the statue of St. Joseph next to the New Town Hall.
Return details
We will end on Mariánské náměstí, opposite the Czech National Library, and not far from the Old Town Square.

Karlovo namestiTours begin on the Charles Square, nowadays a leisure park, but once a large and bustling market with many historical stories to tell.

National Memorial To The Heroes Of The Heydrich TerrorIn the middle of the tour, we will have a 15-minute break at the Church of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, so you can see the crypt where the Resistance fighters took their last stand.

We will also spend some time down at a viewpoint on one of Prague's beautiful river islands, an excellent vantage point for discussing many important sights in the city.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)The tour, having worked its way from the New Town towards the centre, will end amongst the winding, cobbled streets of the Old Town.
