It is called Saryeoni Forest Trail because it is a forest path that leads to Saryeoni Oreum. ‘Saryani’ means ‘sacred forest’ or ‘winding threads in a circle so that they do not scatter’, and you can feel as if you are surrounded by the refreshing scent of cedar trees while walking through the forest. In addition to the dense cedar, a variety of tree species such as Quercus oak, hornbeam, stingray, and cypress are inhabited. Because various species of trees live in it, it is also a nest for mammals including badgers and weasels, birds including eight-colored birds and goshawks, and reptiles including zebrafish. It is also the forest where the drama filming "Secret Garden" took place.
