You have the option to hike up to Hoven, but if you're not into hiking you also have the possibility to add a sauna visit or some horesback riding to the tour. The water here can be a brilliant color on a calm summer day, so you could quickly think you're someplace a bit more tropical – until you dare to go for a swim! Another highly rated thing to da at Gimsøya is Hoven. With a height of only 368 meters and a gentle ascent, it is one of the most accessible 'mountain' hikes on the Lofoten Islands. The summit rewards you with impressive 360° views.
