Overview
Experience a guided journey through time walking through the streets of the historic center of the capital of El Salvador, visiting what was the Plaza Mayor founded by the Spanish in 1545 and in front of it the El Rosario church with a unique design throughout. Latin America and which keeps as much history as beauty inside, then we continue towards the oldest Social Club in the country: La Dalia. The Morazán and Gerardo Barrios squares as well as the façade of the National Theater, a jewel of art, and the visit to the interiors of the National Palace will impress you and even more so the Metropolitan Cathedral in whose basement is the Crypt of the first Salvadoran saint: Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero. To finish, you will taste a cup of exquisite Salvadoran coffee in one of the many options in the city.

Iglesia El RosarioOur guide will take you to the El Rosario church which has a modern architectural design that broke with the usual canons of religious construction in the city, that is, the Latin and Greek cross type. Compared to other temples, the church does not have pillars that hinder the visibility of the faithful towards the altar and the colorful religious images that stand out inside. Furthermore, this temple is recognized as one of the iconic buildings of the Historic Center of San Salvador, not only for the relevant events, but for its unique architectural design that represents an important artistic manifestation and is a heritage protected by the Hague convention.

Club La DaliaWe will visit the oldest Social Club in El Salvador, operating since 1937 and where famous people such as Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete, Lucha Villa, Claudia Lars among others have been present.

Plaza LibertadOur guide will take you through Plaza Libertad, which is located in the historic center of the city of San Salvador, which includes the Los Proceres Monument in its center. It was from this place where the expansion of the city began in the mid-16th century and has witnessed events such as the massacre of February 28, 1977.

Our guide will take you walking through the main streets of the historic center towards Plaza Francisco Morazán is located in the historic center of the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. The place stands out for the monument to the Central American hero Francisco Morazán, which contains high reliefs of battles carried out by the leader, and figures representing the five nations that formed the Federal Republic of Central America. It is considered the oldest monument in this city. On the south side of the square, is the National Theater of San Salvador which we can appreciate from its exterior.
