Trakai Island Castle MuseumAfter reaching the island and taking off the boat, guide will lead you to the entrance to the castle and will help you to buy tickets to the castle museum to explore it on your own.

All happy we will head to local café, run by true Karaite, settled off the beaten tourist path where we will have Crimean Karaite lunch and try traditional dish - KYBYN, and while waiting until it will be baked, enjoy pint of craft beer, Karaite spirit drink and talk about us and you, tell you openly about Lithuania’s past and present. After lunch we will head back to Vilnius BUT on the different route!

TrakaiAfter the visit to the castle you will have up to 30 minutes to swim, paddle or shop for souvenirs (folks say it’s way cheaper to buy amber jewelry here than in Vilnius).

Angelu KalvaOn the way to Trakai we will visit unique Hill of Angels and discover how deeply pagan point-of-view to the world is expressed in our traditional art – wood carving and why there is a sun embodied on Lithuanian Christian cross.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
