This tour is a great way to see the BEST waterfalls and views near Asheville in only a half day! Your guide shows you a mix of the biggest and “off the beaten path” waterfalls in Pisgah National Forest, home to 250+ waterfalls. We spend 4.5 hours visiting multi-tiered waterfalls, hidden pools, rock overhangs, and more! Your expert guide integrates hikes (according to your interests) for 1-3 miles or 3-7 miles, discussing the wonders of nature along the way! As we travel to our trailhead, we will drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway through its iconic tunnels and soak in endless stunning mountain views! Required footwear: sturdy tennis shoes or hiking boots. Recommended clothing: Rainwear (rain jacket or poncho); multiple layers (for chilly mornings and higher elevation destinations). The tour ends around 1:30 p.m.
