Overview
Visit a winery in the countryside of Guadalajara, Spain only an hour from our meeting point in Madrid.
We visit a gorgeous family owned winery surrounded by vineyards where I provide a complete private tour of the winery, vineyards, fermentation room, barrel room, bottling room and all the grounds. On a lucky day we may be able to hang out with the local deer that come up to you and let you pet them, such a treat! (See photos) We finish our tour in their tasting room for our private wine tasting accompanied by local meats and cheeses. This family has owned this winery since 1998 and is now currently run by the owner's two sons.
After our winery tour we visit the neighboring village where we enjoy a traditional lunch accompanied by more wine! The restaurant is a very typical Spanish restaurant serving regional and seasonal food.
This tour has been designed to offer a personal experience in a small group setting, no more than 4 people.

Bodegas Finca Rio NegroGet to know a Spanish winery and vineyard near Madrid with me, a bubbly native from Los Angeles, California who has lived in Madrid for 20+ years. Our day starts off by visiting a winery an hour from our meeting point. As a WSET trained wine enthusiast, i´ll explain the wine making process as we visit the vineyards and show you the inner workings of the winery. After the tour we will sample 3 wines accompanied by local cheeses and other locally made snacks. The winery is family owned and there is a possibility to have lunch at the winery for private groups, inquire for more info. Enjoy and support a local winery in a picturesque Spanish countryside setting!
