The tour will end up at the city's museum (former Capuchin's Convent) a central spot within the historical old-town where you could either walk, or take a taxi back to your hotel, or even find a place to rest and take a dinner.

    You will know about the foundation of the city, and about the love story behind the aqueduct's construction.
  • Panteon de los queretanos Ilustres
    You will hear about some of the most important people in the history of the city that are buried in this place, and about some of their actions that influenced the history of our country.
  • Templo y ex-convento de la Santa Cruz de los Milagros
    At the top of the hill where Queretaro was founded for the second time, you will learn about the legends and many national historical chapters in which this Franciscan convent was involved.
  • Plaza de Armas
    After visiting a couple of architectural Neo-Classical examples we'll visit the picturesque main square of the city with more historical tales to tell.
  • Santuario de La Congregacion de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe
    You will appreciate the temple of the Virgin of Guadalupe, while hearing about the historical importance of this religious figure in Mexico, and about the temple's builder.
  • Templo y Exconvento de San Francisco de Asis de Queretaro
    From within the ancient premises of the Convent you'll apreciate the many transformations of the buiding due to the historical moments of the country, and the spot where the ancient "inner-land road" started.
  • Teatro de la Republica
    For many historical reasons, from the Colonial times to the 21st century, this is probably the most important theater in the country, and I will explain you why.
  • Convento de Santa Clara
    The first and largest female convent in the city, the ancient city's hospital, a remarcable Neo-Classical fountain, and the greatest example of baroque private house architecture, all side by side in a single corner.
  • Museum of Arts of Queretaro
    The museum includes a great colection of colonial paintings but the building itself is a baroque marvel of which was the ancient Agustinian Convent.
  • Templo De Santa Rosa De Viterbo
    Another baroque marvel of the colonial times which can be visited and admired both, from out and from its amazing inside.
