  • Batu Caves
    Visit the Batu Caves, a limestone hill that has a series of caves and where the Hindu Deity temple is.
  • Istana Negara
    Istana Negara is Malaysia’s National Palace. Built in 1928, it is located along Jalan Istana and the 13-acre castle used to be the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia. In June 2011, it was replaced by a new, extravagant RM800 million palace near Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.
  • National Monument
    The National Monument is located 50m along Jalan Tamingsabi, at the northern end of the Lake Gardens on Jalan Parlimen. The 15m-high bronze statue is dedicated to the 11,000 people who died during the First World War, the struggle against the Japanese and the Malayan Emergency.
  • Dataran Merdeka
    Merdeka Square is undoubtedly KL’s best known landmark. Also called Dataran Merdeka, it is set in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building (the former State Secretariat). Directly in front is the Royal Selangor Club and to the north is St. Mary’s Church, one of Malaysia’s oldest Anglican churches.
  • An interactive exhibit of pewter manufacturing, the Royal Selangor Visitor’s Centre is a 40,000sqft attraction housing a series of galleries, a factory and retail store.     etronas Twin Towers were once the tallest buildings in the world. Now the world’s tallest twin structures, the 88-storey buildings were designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates with both towers joined at the 41st and 42nd floors (175m above street level) by a 58 metre-long, double-decker Sky Bridge.
