  • Ytri Tunga Beach
Discover the charm of Ytri Tunga, a hidden gem on Iceland’s Snæfellsnes Peninsula. This golden-sand beach is famous for its playful seal colony, often seen lounging on the rocks or swimming just offshore. Unlike Iceland’s typical black sand beaches, Ytri Tunga offers a brighter, more tranquil coastal experience. With stunning ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere, it's the perfect stop for nature lovers and photographers seeking unforgettable moment
  • Budakirkja
The church was build in 1703. After the Danish king decided to dismiss the church in 1819, several residents fought for the reclamation and in 1849 they got the allowance to build a new chapel. A woman named Steinunn saved some of the old artefacts and, thanks to her, we can still see them today.
  • Arnarstapi
The next stop will be in Arnastapi, a beautiful and charming fishing village. During the time, powerful waves eroded the cliffs and left the stunning rock formations behind that can be seen today. Also, a sculpture of Bárður Snæfellsás, the guardian of the Penninsula, can be found here.
  • Londrangar Basalt Cliffs
Rising dramatically from the ocean, Lóndrangar are two towering basalt sea stacks that have withstood the test of time and tide. Shaped by volcanic forces and relentless waves, these natural sculptures are steeped in folklore, often referred to as the "trolls of Snæfellsnes." As you admire their striking presence against the backdrop of the Atlantic, you’ll feel the power and mystery of Iceland’s untamed coastline. Lóndrangar is a stunning reminder of nature’s artistry and a perfect spot to soak in the rugged beauty of Snæfellsnes
  • Malariff Lighthouse
Discover the dramatic beauty of Malariff, Iceland, where nature’s raw power meets coastal charm. Visit the iconic Malariff Lighthouse, standing tall against the roaring Atlantic, and take in sweeping views of the Snæfellsjökull glacier. Wander volcanic beaches, spot seabirds soaring overhead, and breathe in crisp ocean air. Perfect for nature lovers and photographers, Malariff offers a peaceful escape into Iceland’s untamed wilderness.
  • Vatnshellir Lava Cave
Step into a realm of mystery and wonder as you descend into the depths of Vatnshellir Cave, one of the highlights of your Snæfellsnes journey. Located in the heart of Snæfellsjökull National Park, this extraordinary lava cave was formed over 8,000 years ago during a volcanic eruption. Its winding tunnels and fascinating rock formations transport you into a world that feels like something out of Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth. Explore the stunning colors, unique stalactites, and twisted lava flows while hearing stories about the volcanic forces that shaped Iceland's landscapes. Vatnshellir is a place where time seems to stand still—a glimpse into the Earth's raw power and ancient history. With the guidance of a knowledgeable expert, you'll navigate the cave’s mysterious chambers, all while marveling at the interplay of light and shadow in this otherworldly subterranean wonder.
  • Djupalonssandur Beach
Discover the dramatic beauty of Djúpalonssandur, a black sand beach nestled on Iceland’s rugged Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Surrounded by lava formations and steep cliffs, this mystical destination offers a glimpse into Viking history with ancient lifting stones once used to test sailors' strength. Stroll among the remains of a shipwreck, feel the power of the Atlantic waves, and soak in the untouched, otherworldly charm of one of Iceland’s hidden coastal treasures.
  • Ingjaldscholskirkja
Standing proudly on a hill, Ingjaldshólskirkja is Iceland’s oldest concrete church, dating back to 1903. Surrounded by breathtaking views of the Snæfellsjökull glacier and rolling fields, this picturesque landmark exudes history and charm. With its striking red roof and serene setting, the church is a symbol of timeless beauty and a must-visit stop on your Snæfellsnes adventure.
  • Kirkjufell Mountain
The most photographed mountain in Iceland is next on our list. You probably noticed it on the TV show "Game of Thrones". It is surrounded by a beautiful waterfall. You'll get enough time to stroll around the walking paths to explore the area.
