You will see the ancient paths and dense vegetation, the same that inspired St. Francis. You will experience 60 minutes of pure philosophical dialogue an immersion in the silence of nature to explore universal themes and the depth of your soul. After nourishing the mind and spirit, we will return to the city for the second part of the experience: taste. You will be welcomed in our Home Restaurant. You will see a table laden with local products. You will experience a moment of true Italian conviviality. Chef Vanessa will delight you with a Complete Meal (from appetizer to dessert) of authentic Umbrian tradition, made with passion and seasonal ingredients. Santuario di San FrancescoThe Primitive Convent: Here the first Franciscan settlement (the "primitive convent") was built, consisting of wooden and lime DA cells still intact today. These cells are a rare testimony of the early stage of Franciscan hermit life. The Original Cells: The seven cells of the first settlement are still visible and offer a rigorous testimony to the poverty and essentiality of the Franciscan Rule. The Cave: The cave where the Poor Man of Assisi retired in prayer and penance (original core of the Hermitage). The Well of St. Francis: A small spring that, according to legend, the Saint miraculously gushed from the rock to quench his thirst.
