Tasman GlacierThe Tasman Glacier Ice Adventure is more than just a “full-day” helihike; it is a true exploration of the mighty Haupapa Tasman Glacier, designed for the fitter, or more adventurous travellers. Your day will begin with a scenic helicopter flight to a high landing at approx. 1,400 metres above sea level. Then, with your glacier guide, you will traverse the incredible glacial landscape of crevasses, moulins and towering seracs. You will squeeze through ice features, get lowered into trenches and then climb back up using ice tools and your crampons.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
