  • We will leave 5 points where the bikes are located and bike about 10 minutes to our first destination for tacos. We can try 2 Al pastor tacos or one carnitas, chicken or bean one.
  • We will pass Coors Baseball stadium, the Dairy block, Union Station and the Confluence of the Platt and Cherry Creek before riding the Cherry Creek to Larimar Square. Next door is Bao Brewhouse where we will try some Drunken noodles.
  • We will bike through Metropolitan State University of Denver, the old Tivoli Brewery and Ninth Street Historic Park before stopping at the Buckhorn exchange. The Buckhorn Exchange, established in 1893, is Denver's oldest restaurant and a National Historic Landmark. Founded by Henry H. "Shorty Scout" Zietz—a former scout for Buffalo Bill—the establishment has a rich history of hosting notable figures, including President Theodore Roosevelt. Renowned for its Old West ambiance, the Buckhorn Exchange features an extensive collection of taxidermy with over 500 mounted animals adorning its walls. The menu offers a variety of exotic meats, such as elk, buffalo, and Rocky Mountain oysters, providing a distinctive dining experience that reflects Colorado's frontier heritage. Here we will try some Rocky Mountain Oysters before heading back on the road.
  • We will pass the Colorado State Capital on our way to Rino District. The River North Art District (RiNo) in Denver, Colorado, is a vibrant neighborhood celebrated for its dynamic street art, eclectic mix of galleries, studios, and a thriving culinary and nightlife scene. Originally an industrial area, RiNo has transformed into a cultural hub where creativity and community converge. Visitors can explore colorful murals, innovative restaurants, breweries, and unique shops, all contributing to the district's distinctive character. We will stop at the Denver Central Market, a gourmet food hall located in Denver's RiNo district, featuring 11 vendors offering a variety of culinary options, including baked goods, handcrafted chocolates, artisan cheeses, and more. At Vero Pizza we will order a pizza or 2 with different styles and for desert get something delicious at Izzio Bakery.
