Our agave experts will guide you through a detailed tasting explaining what agave plants are, how the agave spirits are made, info about each product, and discussing tasting notes. You'll try Costa Rican fruits and snacks while we do the tasting.
Our collection of agave spirits is hand-picked, additive-free spirits. We have some extremely special bottles in our cava and our perspective is all about teaching you how to recognize a quality tequila or mezcal and learn about regions outside of the most common areas of tequila and mezcal production.

CATA Agave Bar is an oceanfront agave tasting room & cocktail bar located on the beach in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Each experience begins with a refreshing welcome cocktail crafted with seasonal Costa Rican fruits. As we get to know your group, we tailor the tasting to suit your preferences, ensuring a memorable exploration of agave spirits.
