First off, we visit bustling Bugolobi market, where you will learn to make Uganda's most famous street food, the 'rolex'. A rolex is a combination of eggs, onions and tomatoes, cooked over a charcoal stove and rolled up in a chapati. A local vendor will give you a demonstration before you cook and eat your own creation!

We finish with a traditional Ugandan meal - choose from a range of stews, boiled in the traditional way, accompanied by a range of sides including fresh matooke (Uganda's staple food), rice, cassava, sweet potato and local greens. Wash it down with a glass of juice of local 'porridge'. Vegetarian options are available.

Next, we visit the Moonbean Chocolate company, where we will learn all about the process of making chocolate from Uganda's own cocoa bean, sourced from Bundibugyo on the Congolese border. Have a go at making your own personalised chocolate bar; yours to eat or take home at the end!
