Ryogoku StationAt 7:45 a.m., meet your guide in front of the 7-Eleven after exiting the West Exit of JR Ryogoku Station. There will be a brief introduction to sumo. After that, we will head to the sumo stable. (Please be punctual)

Sumo Stable: Observe the sumo wrestlers' training up close, which is based on Shinto traditions. Please watch quietly and with respect. If you are lucky, you may have the chance to take photos with the wrestlers after the training. Please note that on some days, the training may finish earlier than scheduled, resulting in a shorter observation time.

The Sumida Hokusai MuseumKatsushika Hokusai, a world-renowned ukiyo-e artist, was born in Honjo-Wari-Gesui (presently the Kamezawa area in Sumida Ward, Tokyo) in 1760 and spent almost the entire 90 years of his life in Sumida Ward where he created a large number of masterpieces.

Nominosukune ShrineVisit the shrine dedicated to the god of sumo, Nominosukune, and see the stone monuments of past Yokozuna in the shrine grounds. It is a tradition for newly promoted Yokozuna to perform their first ring-entering ceremony in front of this shrine.

Ryogoku KokugikanIf you hope, we can walk past Kokugikan, Grand Sumo Tournament is held three times a year, allowing you to soak in the atmosphere of this iconic venue. The Sumo Museum (free) Closed on weekends and during events, and not possible during sumo tournaments as admission fees apply.

Ryogoku Edo NorenBased on the concept of "connecting modern-day deliciousness and culture in an Edo space," enjoy a variety of foods in the historic old Ryogoku Station building, in an open-ceiling space reminiscent of an Edo-period town house, with a fire watchtower and a full-sized sumo ring in front of you.
