Mission San Xavier del BacA Stop at San Xavier Mission built when Southern Arizona was still a part of Spanish Territory. We will visit the spectacular Church and wander into the open-air Tohono O'odam Indian Shops scattered around the Mission and shop the collection of Indian art and novelties.
- See the location of the Presidio in present day downtown Tucson. The origin of the city and where the name Tucson came from. (pass by)
- We will pass by Historic Hotel Congress, the St. Augustine Cathedral and A Mountain. We will view the magnificent Cathedral built in the late 1800's and discover an Indian Village at the base of A mountain and find out why a young Indian boy would be tapped to make the journey to the top every day to keep sentinel.
